CSVQBO ("we," "our," or "us") operates csvqbo.com, a service that converts CSV and Excel bank and credit-card statement exports into QBO (QuickBooks Web Connect) files for QuickBooks Online and Desktop. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information (name, email address, password)
• Profile information (job title, company)
• Billing information, which is processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers
• The files you upload for conversion (CSV and Excel statement exports) and the QBO and related files we generate from them
• Communications you send us when you contact support

We never ask for or collect your online banking credentials. CSVQBO does not log in to your bank. You export a CSV or Excel file from your bank or card provider yourself and upload it to us, so there are no bank usernames, passwords, or login tokens involved.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Convert your uploaded CSV and Excel files into QBO and other supported formats
• Provide, maintain, and improve the service
• Process transactions and send related billing information
• Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
• Send technical notices, updates, and security alerts
• Monitor usage to keep the service reliable and secure
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and abuse

4. Your Statement Files and Auto-Deletion

The statement files you upload, and the converted output we produce, are processed only to deliver the conversion you requested. We do not sell your transaction data, and we do not use the contents of your statements to build advertising profiles.

Uploaded files and their converted output are automatically deleted from our processing systems shortly after your conversion completes. Paid plans that include a conversion history retain the file metadata and, where the plan provides it, the converted output for the retention window stated on your plan, after which it is purged. You can delete files and history from your account at any time.

5. Data Security

We use encryption in transit and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to limit how long your statement data exists on our systems, which is the strongest protection of all.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of vendors to run the service, such as a payment processor for billing and infrastructure providers for hosting. These vendors process data only as needed to provide their service to us. The service may also link to third-party sites whose privacy practices we do not control.

7. Children's Privacy

The service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
